Indiana State’s Jasmine Grier led all scorers with 22 points that included 5-of-7 from beyond the arc.

With the score tied at six in the opening minutes, Indiana State went on a 10-0 run to put it up 16-6 with 12:18 remaining in the first half. A pair of Alex Harden free throws ended the Sycamore run and cut their lead to 16-8.

The Shockers continued to cut into the deficit and went on a 13-1 run to close out the half. Michelle Price connected on a layup with a little more than two minutes remaining in the half to give Wichita State a one-point advantage, 22-21, heading into the locker room.

The Shockers shot 8-for-31 (.258), while Indiana State shot 7-of-19 (.368) in the first half. The Wichita State defense forced 14 turnovers and had seven steals.
