Report: Naadir Tharpe forgoes college for pro career

CBS Sports reports that former Kansas guard Naadir Tharpe will forgo his final year of college for a shot in the NBA D-League. According to NCAA regulations, Tharpe's decision to go pro voids his final year of college eligibility. 

Tharpe spent three seasons as a Jayhawk before leaving the program after the 2013-14 season. During his tenor in Lawrence, the guard averaged 8.5 ppg and 5.0 assists.
