Fort Hays gets first win of the season on Homecoming

HAYS, Kansas (MIAA Release) -

Fort Hays State took a 21-10 lead into the half and made it stand up to pick up a homecoming victory over William Jewell 34-17

FHSU racked up 271 rushing yards as they picked up their first win of the season. 

For the Tigers Treveon Albert carried the ball eight times for 76 yards and two touchdowns. Andre Smith led the way on the ground with 123 yards and Ed Smith had two touchdowns on the ground.

Justin McPhail led the way with eight tackles as Michael Jordan, Zach Nash and Shane Smith made interceptions.
