New York, NY -

Former Wichita State star Cleanthony Early was introduced for the first time to the New York Knicks. Not in person, but by teleconference.

Among the talking points, Early said dropping into the second round of the NBA draft was a blessing.

The 34th overall pick said he is eager  to work with Phil Jackson and potentially Carmelo Anthony.

But there's another possibility. He could be joining forces with another former Shocker, Toure Murry.

The Knicks made him an unrestricted free agent but reports say they still hope to re-sign Murry.
