PARADISE ISLAND, Bahamas -

The 2nd ranked Kansas Jayhawks suffered the team's first loss on Friday night.  Villanova beat Kansas 63-59 in the semi-finals of the Battle for Atlantis.

Ryan Arcidiacono hit a two-pointer with just 10 seconds remaining in the game to give Villanova a 61-59 lead.

Frank Mason led the Jayhawks with 12 points, all of which he scored coming off the bench.  Mason tied the game at 59 with 34 seconds to play when he knocked down a free throw after scoring on a beautiful spin-move in the lane.  But Kansas' early foul trouble haunted them in the second half forcing Joel Embiid to the bench and Kansas into a smaller lineup.
