World Penguin Day keeper chats will be held at: 10:00 a.m., Noon, 2:00 p.m. and 3:45 p.m. You’ll have a chance to ask the Zookeepers questions, watch the penguins get treats and learn more about the feathered creatures.

Then on Sunday, May 4, from Noon to 6:00 p.m, the zoo will celebrate Cinco de Mayo with food, music and fun! Exhibitors, authentic Mexican food vendors and live music on the main stage are all part of the festivities for the day. And don’t forget to see your favorite Zoo animals while you’re here!

Food vendors for the Cinco de Mayo Celebration will include Happy Corn, Tacos Nuñez, El Pollo Dorado, Lalos Express, Tacos De Mary Hutchinson and Los Compadres.

For both events, World Penguin Day and Cinco de Mayo Celebration, regular admission applies. Members will be admitted free with a membership card and photo ID.
