Rare Classic Cars on display inside Century II

The Starbird-Devlin Rod & Customs Charities Car Show, has brought hundreds of the finest automobiles, rods, and customs to Century II this weekend.

The show is brought by eight car enthusiasts from Wichita: Tim Devlin, John Fry, Dick Price, Tom Devlin, Carl Fry, Trey Price, Mike Rickords and Jeff Breault. In 2012, the local car show was bought from Darryl Starbird, who put on the classic car show for 55 years. 

The car show also includes the special “Magnificent 7 Competition,” a competition featuring the best and most unique vehicles that have never-before been seen in Wichita. Cash awards will be given to the top 4 finalists in the “Magnificent Seven” showcase - $5,000 for 1st place, $3,000 for 2nd place, $2,000 for 3rd place, $1,000 for 4th place, and $50 for fifth place.

All proceeds for this event will go towards three local charities, including Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kansas, Starkey Inc., and the Arc of Sedgwick County.

The show will take place until Sunday, January 19 and admission is adults $12, couples $20, juniors (12-17) $6, children (11 & under) FREE.
