O.J. Watson Park opening spring hours

O.J. Watson Park, located at 3022 S. McLean Blvd., will open under spring hours – from 8 AM to 10 PM - starting Saturday, March 15.

Park rides will be open on Saturday and Sunday from noon to nightfall, and one Monday through Friday from 5 PM to nightfall.

This spring the park will host a variety of springtime events, including: The Bunny Blast & Egg Hunt on Sat., Apr. 12 (Children ages 2 to 10), O.K. Kids Day on Sat., May 10, and the first-ever Midwest Catfish Classic (Adults ages 14 & up).

O.J. Watson Park includes a 40-acre lake for fishing and pedal boats, miniature golf, train rides, pony rides, volleyball courts, 100 picnic tables, a campfire circle, charcoal grills, hayrack rides, and 3 playgrounds. Picnic shelters are available to rent at Watson Park.

Admission to the park is FREE, but a fee is charged for participating in some activities and all rides.
