The Barton County Sheriff's Department arrested a woman Sunday morning wanted for burglaries in at least three states, including Kansas.
The department says a sergeant and deputy observed a vehicle in various locations in Barton County. When they finally pulled over the vehicle, the driver gave them false information.
The woman was eventually identified as Leticia Chacon, 24, of Dodge City, Kansas. According to Ford County, Chacon is wanted in questioning for burglaries in Missouri, Nebraska, and Kansas.
Officers found several IDs and other property in her possession.
Chacon was booked into the Barton County Jail on a felony theft warrant. She was also charged with obstruction of official duty by the deputies. Her total bond is set at $35,000.
