No phone, no tires…
A 39/m says someone broke his iPhone and slashed his tires in the 1600 block of N. Spruce. Someone witnessed the incident. No arrests.
A 55/m says someone broke into six garage units which were being used as workshops and tool and supply storage. The crooks got in by cutting the lock on one door, then breaking holes through interior walls to get to the other units. Among the things stolen - A 1996 Dodge B2500 van. The man who reported it expected the list of missing items to “expand dramatically” once they were done inventorying.
A security worker reports a woman trying to get into City Hall with a set of brass knuckles in her purse. She was not arrested, but the knuckles were apparently confiscated.
A 34/m says he took his daughter and three small children to the bus stop and three people made threats toward them saying they were going to “shoot up his house tonight”.
A 38/f says she was eating lunch with her three-year-old child when the child said “Mommy, your purse.” She looked down and saw a guy with her purse wrapped around his foot. The three-year-old then said “mommy, your wallet.” She asked the guy if he had her wallet. At that point, he lifted his jacket and showed the wallet in his hap. He says he found it on the floor. She got it back and everything was there. The report does not state whether the guy was arrested.
Lewd and Lascivious…
A 31/f says a man was standing outside her apartment. When she confronted him, he exposed himself and asked for sex. The man was arrested. The location of the incident is not listed.
A 67/f says someone stole something from inside her purse while she was shopping in the 2200 block of N. Rock. She says her purse was on her shoulder, but sort of hanging open. She says someone would have had access to grab the property from her purse. She didn’t realize it was missing until she went to check out.
