Wichita Police are searching for three suspects accused of a beating during a home invasion.

Officers were called to the 1400 block of South Emporia just after 9 p.m. Wednesday. Police said the suspects pushed their way into the home after a man answered his door. The man was beaten repeatedly with a baseball bat, and kicked. A woman woke up from the commotion, and was also knocked in the head.

The suspects ran away when one of the victim's friends arrived at the home. One of the suspects also flashed a black handgun.

The suspects got away with several thousands of dollars worth of electronics during the beating.

The victims were treated for a few broken bones, bumps and cuts.

The suspects are described as white men, about 25 to 30 years old, last seen driving away from the scene in a black Ford pickup. They are all about 5'6" to 6' tall, with thin builds.

Anyone with information in this crime is asked to call police.

It is the second home invasion beating this week. A 65-year-old man was beaten with a bat during a burglary in the 1300 block of S. Laura Monday night.
