Two men face drug and other charges in Arkansas City

ARKANSAS CITY, Kan. -

A nearly three month investigation resulted in two men arrested on drug and child endangerment charges.

Arkansas City Police Captain Mark McCaslin said the Cowley County Drug Task Force began their investigation in December on 47 year-old Gregory Erwin and 22 year-old Taylor Erwin at 2013 Sunset Way.

Officers found evidence of methamphetamine drug sales and drug use were found in an unsecured location inside the home. Police said the items were easily accessible by children ages, 2, 6 and 9, living in the home.

Gregory Erwin remains in the Cowley County Jail on a $15,000 bond, while Taylor Erwin bonded out of the Cowley County Jail on $6,000 bond. The Arkansas City Police Department and Winfield Police Department assisted with the investigation.
