Troopers inspect Wichita school buses

WICHITA, Kan. -

Kansas Highway Patrol Troopers spent Thursday inspecting school buses. First Student has more than 500 school buses in the Wichita School District.

Troopers looked over each bus inside and out making sure they are ready to hit the road for the first day of school.

Once a buses passes inspection, it will get a blue sticker that will be displayed in the driver side corner of the windshield.

The first day of school in Wichita is August 12.
