Douglass, Kan. -

A three story Victorian home is a total loss after a fire Sunday afternoon.

Fire Chief John Ford tells us there were people in the house in Douglass when they first arrived. Those people were able to escape without any injuries.

Fire departments from five different towns were called in because to help extinguish the fire because of water supply issues.

The fire was under control around 6:30, but crews stayed on the scene throughout the night to monitor hot spots.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.  Preliminary damage estimates are between $100,000-$200,000.
