Suspect from gas station murder makes first appearance
Jackson Bryant, accused of killing a man in a south Wichita gas station, made his first appearance in court today.
Police say the 19-year-old walked into a gas station near Harry and Hydraulic and demanded money from the clerk Sunday night. A customer tried to intervene and was shot during an argument.
Bryant faces multiple charges, including first degree murder. He's being held on a million dollar bond.
