GARDEN CITY, Kan. -

A 31-year-old male is arrested after reportedly stabbing a 31-year-old female multiple times to her face and head.

Garden City Police say Quincy Crough was booked into the Finney County Jail on allegations of attempted first degree murder and aggravated burglary.

Crough is accused of entering the Walmart, approaching the victim who is an employee, and stabbing her without provocation.

It happened in the 3100 block of E. Kansas Avenue on Sunday, April 6 around 8 a.m.

Officers were able to obtain a description of the suspect after he left the store on foot. A little after noon, officers located Crough outside of an apartment where he was taken into custody.

Crough's aggravated burglary charges are from his arrest at the business in November, 2013. He was convicted of the crime and was ordered to stay out of the business.
