Wichita State is looking to keep its undefeated season alive, and show off its school spirit.
A stripe the stadium campaign is set to overtake Koch Arena when the Shockers tip off against Indiana State Saturday afternoon. The purpose is to make the arena looked color-coordinated.
Fans attending the game are being asked to wear colors based on their seating. Black and yellow shirts are flying off store shelves.
Phyllis Riddle, Kansas Sampler shopper, said she is looking forward blending in with the crowd.
Maelee Tolbert, manager, said many fans are looking for looking for the opposite color.
"It's just a whole bunch of frenzy, it's just excitement!" Tolbert said. "It makes you feel warm inside to know that, hey, I live in Wichita, and that's my team out there playing."
