SALINA, Kan. -

A Salina woman charged in the death of her 3-month-old son has been found guilty.

Judge Patrick Thompson found Desirah Overturf, 21, guilty of first-degree murder in connection to the child abuse death of her infant son. Overturf pleaded no contest to the charges in court Thursday.

Police were called to the couple's home in December because of an unresponsive child. Jordan Corbin was pronounced dead at the home. The cause of the baby's death has not been released.

Overturf will return to court for sentencing Sept. 8. A co-defendant, Nicholas Corbin, will appear in court June 23 for an arraignment.
