S. Wichita Dollar General robbed at gunpoint
Wichita Police are searching for suspects accused of robbing a south Wichita dollar store.
It happened in the 200 block of West 47th St. South around 7:50 p.m. Wednesday. Police said two armed men came into the store demanding money. The robbers hid their identities by wearing a cloth bag over their faces, with eyeholes cut out, Capt. Doug Nolte said.
Several people were in the store at the time. One of the suspects stole an item from a shopper. No one was hurt.
The suspects ran away with about $200. No other description was available.
