Pratt Co. Sheriff looking for cattle thief

The Pratt County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of 12 head of black and black white face cows.

Pratt County Sheriff Vernon Chinn says the cows are big, weighting 1300-1500 pounds. They are also bred and could calve any day.

The cows are branded on the right hip with “WF” and have red ear tags that say “DW” on the front and a phone number on the back.

The theft happened some time during the night of February 11 from a pasture in the NW part of Pratt County.
