WICHITA, Kan. -

Local law enforcement officers have arrested a man in connection to a string of recent Subway robberies.

The man was taken in to custody after Sedgwick County deputies stopped a white van for a traffic violation on west Kellogg Tuesday afternoon.

Jail records indicate Richard Alumbaugh, 26, and Larry Powell, 34, were arrested and booked on robbery charges.

Detectives believe the suspects are responsible for at least three robberies at Wichita Subways over the past week.
