Paving company sued for 'illegal practices'

TOPEKA, Kan. -

A door-to-door construction and paving company is facing a lawsuit filed by the Kansas Attorney General.

Will J. Harrison, Jr., doing business as Wester Construction and Will Harrison Paving, is being investigated for alleged violations of the Kansas Consumer Protection Act in a door-to-door driveway paving operation in Rawlins County.

Derek Schmidt, and the consumer protection division, is asking consumers who have interacted with the company for assistance in the investigation. Complaints can be filed by calling 1-800-432-2310, or file online.
