SALINE COUNTY, Kan. -

Saline County authorities have arrested a third person in connection to a Salina woman's death last year.

Kristin Tyler's body was found face down in water near I-70 and I-135 in May of 2013. She had been reported missing a couple of weeks earlier.

Authorities arrested Megan Wells, 21, of Abilene Tuesday. She is being held in the Saline County jail on conspiracy to commit first-degree murder. Her bond has been set at $1,000,000.

Prosecutors filed formal charges against Wells Thursday. She will return to court Monday for a hearing.

Detectives arrested Joel Heil and Dane Deweese shortly after Tyler's body was found. Both are awaiting trial for first-degree murder.
