Barton County Sheriff’s Officers catch a burglar red-handed. Now, they believe he may have been involved in other cases in two other counties.
Authorities responded to a silent alarm call at a home in Susank in northern Barton County on Monday.
When officers arrived, they found Nicholas A. Nondorf of Wilson, Kansas and a pickup truck. That truck was determined to be stolen out of Mitchell County and it appeared there was attempted forced entry at the home in Susank.
Nondorf was arrested at the scene for burglary, possession of stolen property and criminal damage to property as well as criminal trespass.
Authorities in Mitchell County were notified and their investigation is pending. Nondorf may also be involved in a stolen vehicle case out of Ottawa County.
