In less than 24 hours, we will know who Wichita State will play in their first game of the NCAA tournament.
The Shockers are a #1 seed in the midwest region. They will play the winner of the Cal-poly and Texas Sourthern game.
That game is scheduled for tomorrow night. Even with the game days away, bars and restaurants are gearing up for the big day.
All three Kansas teams will play Friday in St. Louis. That means huge business for sports bars and pizza joints. People going out to watch at sports bars may want to get there early.
At Deano's at 21st and Webb they're suggesting you show up 45-minutes to an hour before tipoff to get a table. Bry Thomas works at Deano's and says it's going to be a huge weekend.
"We've got three huge games on Friday kicking off the tournament," Thomas says. "And then WSU and K-State potentially playing on Sunday, KU also having their game on Sunday but it's going to be a big weekend for us."
Meanwhile other fans will be staying home or going to private watch parties. Knolla's Pizza expects to make a lot of pies this weekend. They say the tournament always means big business.
The further the Kansas teams go in the tournament, the more big business for Kansas
