Earthquake reported in Sumner County

SUMNER COUNTY, Kan. -

The U.S. Geological Survey reports an earthquake around 12 miles West Northwest of Caldwell this morning.

The quake struck at 5:40 am and preliminary reports indicate it measured 3.6.

Another quake was reported west of Perry, Oklahoma at around 2:30 Thursday morning. That quake measured 2.5.

We received the photo below from Shawna Newton in Bluff City. She said there was a small crack in her ceiling, around two inches wide.  After the earthquake, that hole grew to roughly three feet wide.
