Deputies find marijuana grow operation while investigating vicious dog

SEDGWICK COUNTY, Kan. -

The Sedgwick County Sheriff's Office uncovers a drug operation while investigating a vicious dog complaint.

Deputies were called to Broadway and 83rd Street South after someone reported a vicious dog. While deputies were trying to contact people in the home, they found what appeared to be a marijuana growing operation.

Detectives were called in to help out. 140 plants were recovered from the home.

Investigators are still looking into what happened. No charges have been filed.
