WICHITA, Kan. -

A dog who wandered into Wichita's Botanica gardens is up for adoption.

The dog showed up at Botanica in January, with a cable wrapped around its arm. But it wasn't until March that workers were able to capture him.

Connie Bell has been caring for "Botanica Charlie" since then. He's also been seen by the veterinary clinic in Valley Center.

"He's going to make somebody a great buddy," Bell said.

The two-year-old dog is very friendly, Bell said. He loves to play and do things to get treats. Contact Bell if you are interested in adopting the dog.
