Two people were arrested last week in Arkansas City and charged several fraud charges.
Freddy Castro-Alcon, 28, and Ismael Raymundo Mendoza, 39, were booked into the Cowley County Jail on March 27, and released to IRS Agents the next day. They were charged with possession of identification document fraud, social security fraud and aggravated identity theft.
One subject was also wanted by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
Agents with the Internal Revenue Service told Arkansas City Police on March 25, they needed assistance in locating three people living in Arkansas City and currently have federal warrants.
