A woman's attempt to use her sisters name to keep out of trouble failed

A woman who faked her sisters I.D. remains in the Cowley County Jail on multiple charges including, aggravated false impersonation.

26 year-old Heather McCall was arrested January 15th along with 27 year-old James Fletcher of Emporia in the 300 block of Winfield in Rock, Kansas. McCall's identity wasn't discovered until January 20th.

Police said both were arrested for trespassing and interference with a law enforcement officer. During the arrest she used her sister's name. Her sister wanted to file charges.

The family had been looking for her. Charges were pending in another jurisdiction until she got into more trouble. McCall remains in jail on $6,000 bond.
