Part of How I Plan to Stay Warm

Well, it's here! Winter-like weather. Only in Kansas can you drop 30 degrees in a matter of hours. Since I go to work before the crack of dawn and I don't have a garage, the walk to my car is fairly brutal. Considering this, I've already started thinking about what I am going to wear in the morning. Here is my survival list:

UGG boots - sheepskin keeps your toes and legs warm! (think Christmas gift if you don't have a pair)

Long scarf - I'm talking about one you can wrap around your neck three or four times; a la 'A Christmas Story'!

Coat- Duh! But the heavier the better.

HOT coffee along with a HOT breakfast - biscuits and gravy come to mind - can you tell I'm from the South?

Gloves- touch screen style so you don't have to take those suckers off.

Soup - my favorite place - Tanya's Soup Kitchen near downtown Wichita; call ahead and avoid the wait.

Tights - the heavier the better, preferably with a pattern - my latest pair says 'Love' all over them and I really do. I wear them under blue jeans shhh!

How do you stay warm?
