ADHD Coaching Specialists McNay and Voth have released an online course package called "A Mother's ADHD Survival Guide," a tool for parents with children struggling with ADHD. The five part series offers tips, problem solving skills and anecdotes from past clients to help parents manage their children's ADHD symptoms.
"I wrote it to touch on their pains, and then offer some solutions," explains Dr. Atha McNay. "Even if they only took the courses, they'll get a wealth of knowledge that they couldn't get from a magazine article."
The course includes a 5-10 minute video and supplemental worksheets for each lesson. The course was created to be watched at the user's own pace, whenever they have a question or need extra help. Each lessons deals with a different aspect of ADHD.
Dr. McNay has released the course in conjunction with an online invitation-only community, ADHD Alive. Members can communicate with both Dr. McNay and other people in their area dealing with ADHD. Users will be able to ask Dr. McNay questions and get help with specific issues they are trying to tackle.
"We want the viewing public to know this issue is being addressed in the Wichita community by an expert," says Dr. McNay.
