Ford Motor Company is racing into Kansas for the Fifth Annual BlackTop Nationals, Aug. 22-24, with an exciting lineup of 2015 model year cars and trucks, including the most coveted American muscle car, the 2015 Ford Mustang and all-new aluminum body Ford F-150. Held in Wichita, Kansas, BlackTop Nationals features can’t-miss attractions for automotive enthusiasts, including a display of rare motorcycles, automobiles and trucks, as well as heart pounding hot laps and Ford sponsored ride-and-drives. BlackTop Nationals supports local charities such as Kansas Honor Flight and the Automotive Restoration Technology Program at McPherson College.
“BlackTop Nationals has grown into an important event for Ford Motor Company to connect with fans on a personal level,” said Paul Brearey, Ford marketing manager. “We support the BlackTop Nationals because it combines family fun and automotive excitement, while also supporting important local charities. In just five years, BlackTop Nationals has evolved into a unique event that caters to diehard enthusiasts with a Midwestern flair.”
Ford will showcase its full 2015 line-up of vehicles, including the popular Focus and Mustang models at Century II Convention and Preforming Arts Center. Fans can experience the exhilaration of the Focus ST and Fiesta ST through hot lap experiences and witness the action-packed burnout box and dyno demonstrations. In addition to the all-new F-150 Ford will showcase the new 50 Year Limited Edition 2015 Ford Mustang, revealed earlier this year as a tribute to half a century of the original Pony car. Many fans will see this special Mustang up-close for the first time at the event.
BlackTop Nationals is one of the nation’s largest lifestyle shows. From muscle car, hot rod and performance bike displays for enthusiasts, to live entertainment or for those who simply want to enjoy a few days in the sun, BlackTop Nationals has it all.
