Bradley Fair hosted the 4th Annual Autumn & Art Festival over the weekend of Friday, Sept. 13 through Sunday, Sept. 15. This year’s art show and sale featured artwork from 95 artists from 21 states, 34 of those artists from Kansas, including 10 artists from Wichita.
The visually-stimulating art fair featured a variety of media categories, including paintings, drawings, sculptures, photographs, jewelry, ceramics, fiber, glass, woodwork, and more. Artwork was judged according to category.
The event kicked off Friday evening with a VIP Preview Party, from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM. For a $100 fee, guests were VIP Patron Experience pass, which got them into a lavish opening night party, where lavish gourmet food and specialty wines were provided. The VIP Patron Experience pass also provided guests with other exclusive amenities throughout the three-day event, which included special perks like reserved parking and all-weekend access to the Patron Lounge, where guests got to enjoy delicious food from The Fresh Market, cocktails, and live entertainment.
From Saturday through Sunday, the event was free and open to the public. Attendees had the opportunity to shop for artwork and/or grab a quick bite from the numerous food booths provided by Bradley Fair restaurants.
Activities were also setup for children by Wichita Center for the Arts’ Family Art Pavilion, which offered hands-on art projects directed by arts educators and Artie’s Clubhouse, Autumn & Art’s kids-only gallery.
