(WICHITA, Kan.) -

A new report that says, even if you've never done anything wrong, you're probably in the files of local law enforcement.
A study by the American Civil Liberties Union says, more local agencies are using automated scanners to track the movement of every vehicle with a license plate. The scanners then send that  information to the police database, where it may be kept for years.
It's done in the name of terrorist detection, and federal grants let even small police departments do it.  How else do they use the information? Read more here.
